Roofing Services Across Brighton, the Denver Metro & Front Range

Watchdog Roofing and Restoration is a locally-owned roofing contractor based in Brighton, Colorado. From our office at 30 S. 7th Ave, Suite 400B, we provide residential and commercial roofing services to homeowners and property managers throughout the Denver metro and Front Range. Whether you need a free hail damage inspection, a roof replacement, or storm restoration after a major weather event, we serve communities across northern and central Colorado.

Being local matters in roofing. After major hailstorms, the Denver metro gets flooded with out-of-state contractors going door-to-door — many of whom disappear after collecting insurance checks. We’re rooted here. We have a real Brighton address, a team that lives in the communities we serve, and a reputation we have to protect every day. When you choose Watchdog, you choose accountability.

What Unites These Communities: The Front Range Roofing Challenge

Every community we serve sits inside “Hail Alley” — the stretch of Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming that takes more damaging hail than almost anywhere else in the country. That shared weather is the real thread connecting Brighton to Castle Rock to Strasburg, and it’s why roofs here take a beating that roofs in most of the country never see. A few specific forces are at work:

  • Hail. Major damaging storms hit the metro every two to four years, with smaller hail events far more often. A single storm can total a roof that looked fine the day before.
  • High-altitude UV. At a mile above sea level, sunlight is more intense, and shingles degrade roughly 30% faster than they would at sea level.
  • Downslope Chinook winds. These dry, powerful winds pour off the foothills and occasionally exceed 100 mph, lifting shingles and driving debris.
  • Freeze-thaw cycles. Colorado’s swing between warm days and freezing nights repeatedly stresses seals, nails, and flashing until they fail.
  • Heavy spring snow loads. A wet spring storm can drop two feet or more in a single event, putting serious weight on a roof structure.

Put together, this is why Colorado roofs rarely last as long as the manufacturer warranty suggests, why insurance claims are such a normal part of roof ownership here, and why it pays to work with a contractor who actually understands this climate. If you want to dig deeper, we’ve written about how long a roof really lasts in Colorado and spotting hail damage on your roof.

Response Times Across Our Service Area

Distance affects how fast we can get to you — especially for emergency repairs after a storm. Here’s roughly what to expect by zone. For any zone, call first and we’ll give you a specific timeframe based on where our crews are that week.

Zone 1 (Closest) — Brighton, Henderson, Commerce City, Thornton, Lochbuie. Same-day response for most inquiries, often with same-day inspections available. Highest priority for emergency tarping and storm response.

Zone 2 (Close) — Northglenn, Westminster, Federal Heights, Aurora (western neighborhoods). Same-day or next-business-day response is standard, with same-day emergency response when we have crews available.

Zone 3 (Standard) — Aurora (eastern), Arvada, Broomfield, Denver, Erie. Next-business-day response is standard, with emergency response typically within 24 hours.

Zone 4 (Outer) — Castle Rock, Strasburg, Bennett, Watkins, Byers. One-to-two-business-day response is standard, with emergency response coordinated around current scheduling.

Outside Our Service Area?

We’ll be straight with you about where we work. Watchdog primarily serves the Front Range from about Castle Rock in the south, north to Erie, west to Arvada and Broomfield, and east through Aurora to Strasburg. If you’re just outside that footprint, call us anyway — depending on your exact location and the scope of the project, we may still be able to help, or we can point you to a trusted contractor closer to you.

One piece of honest advice: don’t hire a roofer who hesitates to tell you their actual service area. Vague answers about coverage often mean you’ll get vague answers about everything else, too.

Roofing Services Available in Every Service Area

No matter which city you’re in, you get the same full range of exterior services and the same standards. Here’s what we do:

Schedule Your Free Roof Inspection

Wherever you are in the Denver metro and Front Range, your roof inspection is free and comes with no obligation. We’ll give you a written assessment with photos whether you hire us or not — no high-pressure pitch, just an honest evaluation from a Colorado-based contractor who has to stand behind it. If your roof has taken a hit this season, or you just want to know where you stand before the next storm, we’re glad to take a look.
